Bradley European trailer couplings.
Bradley Doublelock designed this range of couplings to sell on the European market.
To fall in line with the couplings on sale in Europe the internals of the hydratow range inside a new casting.
This new casting has the following benefits.
Jockey wheel clamp increased from 43 to 48mm allowing heavyduty serrated jockey wheels to be fitted.
Jockey wheel clamp moved backwards 114mm on modles upto 2750kg and 78mm on 3500kg couplings.
The rear holes are slotter further this makes it fit a larger range od angles of a-frame drawbar.
Couplings upto 2750kg will now bolt on the same hole ctrs as a knott with 100mm wide front holes.
EH35 will now bolt where some knott 3500kg couplings have been.
The top face on the outer parts of the coupling are flat and there are recesses near the front bolts this allows the coupling to be mounter under a drawbar.
A plug keep has been fitted this is a hole in the casting just in front of the jockey wheel clamp this is only suitable for 7 pin plugs.
These couplings are designed to work with modern autoreverse brakes and are not suitable for brakes without autoreverse as a reverse stop can not be fitted.
